The Intensive Training Post-Conference, open to Italian and foreign Psychologists and Psychotherapists, will present the Advanced Brief Strategic Therapy in a format of three days (15-16-17 November 2010).
This Training will offer the opportunity to join the Advanced Model of Brief Strategic Psychotherapy. The work in small groups will lead the participants to learn quickly the intervention protocols, result of research and clinical practice made in the last 20 years at Centro di Terapia Strategica. This work allowed the evolution of the Model in terms of creating new efficient and effective therapy protocols, as well as the formulation of an advanced form of techniques to make really therapeutic the first appointment.
Participants will be led to learn the advanced protocols of specific treatments for:
- Phobic Disorders
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders
- Depression;
- Eating Disorders;
- Relational problems in different contexts: Family and Couple Problems ;
- Sexual Disorders;
- Presumed Psychosis.
Training will be held in groups of not more than 15 people; the participants will be carefully followed by a native language teacher, under Prof. Nardone’s supervision.
The translation will be in English, Spanish, French, German and Russian.

In the morning cases of sample treatment will be presented through videotapes and DVDs, precisely discussed in order to highlight strategies and techniques used.
In the afternoon students will follow live treatments performed by Prof. Giorgio Nardone with specific insights of the teacher
In short, the program will be:
- Introduction to specific protocols and to advanced model of treatment;
- Guided study of videotapes of clinical cases;
- Observation of live cases treated by Prof. G. Nardone;
- Individualized discussion of cases;
- Final meeting with Prof. Nardone to have an expert opinion about the treatment of cases.
